As of 6 p.m. Saturday, 6.9 inches of snow had fallen at O'Hare and 5.5 at Midway, making it the heaviest single-day snowfall since Nov. 21 2015, when 7 inches fell at O'Hare. Up to 10 inches could be on the ground before storms move out of the area.
